The slowdown in production has led to the imbalance of supply and demand
At the end of September wholesale prices for broiler meat in Russia reached a maximum value in the history of observations. As reported by the Institute for agricultural market studies (IKAR), in August there was a slight decline in prices and stabilization after high values, which were formed on the market in mid-summer. However, during September the carcass of broiler chicken in a large wholesale level rose by 8.5% to a record 123-128 RUB/kg. the Value of breast fillets rose to average 230-240 RUB/kg, the wing — 70-75 RUB/kg, ham — 115-120 rubles/kg.
"In early October, the price growth continues", — said the "Agroinvestor" expert of IKAR Anna Kudryakova. According to her, this is due to the continuing shortage in the market, including carcass and breast fillets. "The current level of supply and low volume of residues allows manufacturers to keep prices at this level," said Kudryakova. In September, the number of poultry farms in September produced a carcass with a small weight, up to 1.2 kg. In the middle of last month such proposals had enough points Kudryakova. "Perhaps this is due to a change in the composition of the feed, increasing grain prices, as well as hot summer, during which the bird is worse than gaining weight," she suggested.
According to Rosstat, in August, the poultry production in Russian agricultural enterprises decreased by 2% compared to the same value last year to 489 thousand tons. "last year in this period continued to increase. In the same year recorded a decline in March and in July and August," — said Kudryakova. At the same time in the first eight months of the current year remains positive dynamics at the level of 1.8%.
The reduction in the rate of increased production and rising prices — the result of the efforts to stabilise the market by the manufacturers, in turn, noted the President of Agrifood Strategies albert Davleev. "After the failure of the prices of 13% in 2017, at the end of last and beginning of this year was a lot of talk about the glut of the Russian market of chicken meat and about the need to more effectively sell the goose, that is not to flood the market, reducing prices. As a result, some major poultry companies have taken the decision to reduce landings of birds", — told the "Agroinvestor" Davleev. According to him, now is the time this cycle of reducing the production ends as it begins with a reduction in parental flocks and on average takes up to six months.
"Thus, currently we can say that at the level of the increased consumer activity, which in the first half amounted to 3-4%, the reduction in supply led to the formation of a certain imbalance between consumer demand and supply," stated Davleev. In addition, he continued, the rise in prices affects the situation in the pig breeding sector. "The fluctuations in the prices of chicken traditionally repeat the price dynamics for the pork, and the lag between them is on average 4-6 weeks," — said the expert, Recalling that in August meat processors complained of a sharp increase in prices for pig meat. Another important factor is the cost of feed due to the rising cost of grain and fodder. "Today's proposal, for example, for wheat IV class in the Central Federal district by at least 30-40% higher than the same period of 2017 and prices continue to rise," explains the President of Agrifood Strategies.
In addition, to a certain extent on the situation in the sector impact emerged in this year's financial difficulties at the "White bird" is the fourth largest producer in 2017. "Now a manufacturer changes its position in the market, which is reflected in the dynamics of production in Belgorod, Rostov and Kursk regions," said Kudryakova. So, in January-August poultry production in the agricultural organizations of the Belgorod region decreased by 7%, in Kursk region — on 13%. However, according to Davleev, the amount of "White birds" are not so high as to significantly affect the market as a whole. According to the Russian poultry Union, in the past year, the company "White bird" made 301,8 thousand tons of meat in live weight or 5% of the total volume produced by Russian agricultural enterprises.
According to Rosstat, last year, Russian farmers increased production by almost poultry by 7% to 4.9 million t. According to the forecast of IKAR, at the end of 2018, the issue will be approximately at the level of 2017. The Russian poultry Union expects growth of 1.5-2% to more than 5 million tonnes.

Started all 75 of Russian factories
In Russia, all 75 sugar factories started processing sugar beet harvest in 2018. This week the Ministry of agriculture of the Nizhny Novgorod region announced the start of work Sergach sugar factory, which by 2nd October released the first 3.4 thousand tons of sugar in the current season.
Now production is approaching peak volumes, says a leading expert of the Institute for agricultural market studies (IKAR) Yevgeny Ivanov. "Daily production of sugar this season will update the historical record and, as expected, approaches the level of about 60 thousand tons at a average annual domestic consumption of less than 17 thousand tons/day. This figure can be achieved in the coming days," — he said "Agroinvestor". By early September, according to IKAR, sugar production reached 54 thousand tons/day. According to the expert, the plants in this season so far are stable. "In past years, there were delays to some plants due to heavy rains that did not allow time to haul the beets to the company. This year to date, such situations do not arise in any region," Ivanov said.
According to the agriculture Ministry, currently in Russia removed more than half of the sugar beet. By 3 October the work was conducted on 570 thousand hectares, however 20.2 million tonnes of the root crop with an average yield of 355 kg/ha against 419 kg/ha on the same date in 2017. Especially the significant reduction in the harvest from 1 ha is observed in the southern Federal district by 29% to 341 kg/ha In the Volga region had decreased by 14% to 311 kg/ha in the Center — 9% to 370 kg/ha. this year will remove 1.1 million hectares, which is 5.6% below actually removed the space in 2017.
In the course of the harvesting campaign, IKAR forecasts sugar production to 5.8-6 million tonnes, But given high stocks and lower exports this volume is more than sufficient. "Exports are currently only a little ammunition in Kazakhstan, but with the pace we get to the end of the season the surplus will not be able to get rid of. During the season we need to get at least 200 thousand t, and most likely more. But domestic prices did not allow to reach these volumes," — said Ivanov.
He predicted that the current season of sugar beet processing will last at least until the beginning of February 2019. In the past marketing year, when sugar production reached a record of 6.64 million tonnes with syrup and molasses, factories worked at the beet to the beginning of April. By October 1 produced 1.8 million tons of sugar from beets of the new harvest (in 2017 on this date — 1.9 million t), the current sugar production exceeds last year's figure by 7% and accounts for 14.47%.
Earlier its forecast for sugar production in the season 2018/19 adjusted Soyuzrossakhar. The forecast was lowered by 200 thousand tons to 6 million tons due to the unraveling of this year's climatic conditions. As reported by the Chairman of the Union Andrey Bodin, the lack of moisture and relatively high daytime temperatures resulted in a decline in the quality of sugar beet. "It is poorly stored, but are higher in content of sugar content," said bodeen.
Drought conditions in August-September had a negative impact on yields in all regions of cultivation of crops, confirms the holding "prodimeks". As noted by "Abireg" Deputy Director of the company Vadim Origanski, in addition, the quality of raw materials "does not allow for any long-term storage of carrots until processing". In this regard, the processing season, despite the relatively low yield will be difficult.

The project partners will undertake the allocation of the land plot for construction, preparation for construction of buildings of factory systems, the construction of the Foundation and roof in buildings of factory systems, supply the necessary communications to the land.Download press-re
In August, the agricultural sector declined by 10.8%
The volume of production of agriculture in Russia in August decreased by 10.8% compared to the same period in 2017, to 646 billion rubles, follows from the data of Rosstat. The fall was highest since October 2014 and recorded for the first time from October 2017, when agricultural production fell by 2.3%. In June and July of this year the growth was 0.9%.
The result recorded in August of the dynamics of agricultural production went down and for the first eight months of 2018. In January-August the volume of production of APK amounted to 2.75 trillion rubles in current prices, which is 2.6% lower than the same period of 2017. In January-July agricultural production grew by 1.9%, the first half — year by 2.2%.
As follows from the official statistics, the production decrease is observed primarily at the expense of crop production. So, by September 1 all farms were harvested 78.3 mln tonnes of grain in bunker weight, which is 16% less than the corresponding date of 2017. Sugar beet harvest decreased by 24% to 3.3 million tons, potatoes and vegetables — by 3.2% and 3.7%. "In the agricultural, where 65% of the area of grain and leguminous crops (without maize), grain was threshed on 64% of the acreage (by this time in the previous year: 61%). Given the year of death of crops and use part of them for feeding purposes, according to the calculations, it was necessary to clean approximately 34% of the cultivated area of grain and leguminous crops (without maize)", — informs Rosstat.
At the same time in animal husbandry, the positive dynamics continues. In August all farms produced 1.1 million tons of cattle and poultry for slaughter in live weight by 1.8% more than in August 2017, according to the results of January-August growth reached 3.7%. Including the production of pigs in the agricultural enterprises for the first eight months increased by 10.5% to 2.65 million tons, poultry — by 1.8% to 4.1 million tonnes.
The issue of raw milk in August increased by 0.8% to 3.1 million tons since the beginning of the year rose 1.3%. Including in agricultural enterprises in January-August received 11.1 million tonnes of milk, which is 3.7% more than the same period of 2017. Egg production last month fell 0.2% from August 2017, however for the first eight months of 2018 dynamics remained positive and amounted to 0.9%.
By 2018, the agriculture Ministry predicts the growth of agricultural production in the range of 0-1%, follows from the national report on the implementation of agrigaspolymer last year. In the upgraded program transferred from this year on project management for 2018 given the level of industry growth of 5.9−6.6% of the value of 2015, while in 2016 APK added 4.8 percent in 2017 and 2.4%.
Analysts do not exclude that the production of agricultural products by the end of this year for the first time since 2012, could be reduced. So, the Center for economic forecasting of Gazprombank had previously estimated that due to the lower harvest index of agricultural production in 2018 will be 97.5% after 102,4% in 2017. the Institute for agricultural market expected the growth rate of gross output of agriculture this year will be near zero. In late August, experts IKAR has lowered the forecast of grain production to 110 million tonnes from the 135.4 million tons in 2017. Also, according to General Director IKAR Dmitry Rylko, expected to reduce sugar beet production, a slight decrease for potatoes and vegetables owing to weather factors. "But the harvest of oilseeds is likely to be higher than in 2017 — at a record level, which partially offsets the fall collection in other sectors of crop production," said "the Agroinvestor" Rylko.
The Deputy of Parliament of Leningrad region Ildar Gilyazov Gavrilov and the head of the Kar Sirazhudin Magomedov start in Roshchino meat processing plant for 250 million rubles.
The new production, "Roschinskiy Myasokombinat", open in the Vyborg district of Leningrad region. His co-owners — CEO of Kar Gavrilov Sirazhudin Magomedov and Deputy of the regional Parliament Ildar Gilyazov has invested in the project to 250 million rubles, own funds and loans.
Long and expensive
Initially the plant was supposed to start work at the end of 2017. But the timing of the input is shifted to the year: due to changes in Federal legislation, investors had several times to re-conduct the examination.
The cost of the project increased from the beginning of construction more than doubled due to gains in the Euro and the increased cost of the equipment. In addition, the increased cost engineering site preparation and the establishment of a clearing system.
The late start did not prevent the plant to get to a powerful trend of import substitution of high quality meat products. The plant will produce semi-products of beef and lamb — cut meat that is ready for further processing. The plant will produce 5-10 tons per day. The semis will be treated to the premium segment, the main clients will be companies of HoReCa segment. Raw materials will be purchased from regional farms.
The capacity of the new plant is relatively small: in the region according to the regional Committee on agriculture, in 2017, produced 30 thousand tons of beef and up to 1 thousand tons of mutton.
Meat products produced in the Leningrad region the company "pit–Product", "Neumann", Vsevolozhsk and Tosno meat. "Vsevolozhskiy meat yard" before the end of the year will begin construction of a new plant for 500 million rubles. It will include the shop of the downhole and production of semi-finished pork in the premium segment.
"High-quality semi-finished products even at high prices will be demanded and now," — said the head of "the Vsevolozhsk meat yard" Igor Egorov.
If the products of the new plant is designed for HoReCa, not on trade, the project can be successful, says expert of the Institute for agricultural market studies Anna Kudryakova. "With the meat at all restaurants is the same problem: there is a large monopoly — "Miratorg" and "Prime Beef" that dictate prices, and there are small farmers who find it difficult to keep the level of quality," says restaurateur Alexander belkovich. If the new manufacturer will offer a competitive price at high quality, sales can be successful, he said.

We are also working on projects to create new production at the Nadvoitsy aluminum plant. About it today at the session of the regional Government said the Head of Karelia Arthur Parfenchikov.
At the present time in connection with the reduction of the market began at the plant conservation capacity of electrolysis production. The government of Karelia considers various options for the development of site - work continues on the creation of new industries on the areas of the Nadvoitsky aluminum plant and the involvement of residents in the industrial Park Nadvoitsy.
No layoffs to date is not planned, - said the Head of Karelia. All the employees of the Nadvoitsky aluminum plant will be offered an alternative job with comparable wages.
As a priority, employees will be offered jobs in the emerging production of LLC "Russian radiator". This year the owner has invested in this project nearly 200 million rubles. The company will start with 3 cars in the first half of 2019, during the year, capacity will be increased to 6 lines. By the beginning of next year it is planned 120 jobs.
According to the Head of the Republic, with the leadership of Naz agreed to work on the project to change the nature and specificity of the electrolysis production at the plant towards the domestic market.
Furthermore, developed another project for the realization of the plant - production of technical containers. Here, it is assumed 160 jobs.
Head of Karelia also spoke about the fate of the main enterprise of the settlement of Pindushi "Karelia DSP", which in 2017 suffered as a result of the fire. According to Arthur Parfenchikov, in September it is planned to complete works on restoration of production activities, and in October the factory will start the production of highly profitable products.
Vice-Premier of the Russian government Alexey Gordeyev has declared that the production of bioethanol can create in Russia the additional demand for grain in the amount of 10-15 million tons. Record crops of recent years will force the agricultural sector to seriously engage in deep processing of grain.
At a meeting with members of the Federation Council on 25 July 2018 in Moscow Alexey Gordeev noted:
- We have a surplus of grain, it is obvious. Last year, it quite clearly showed when for the first time in the history of the country in the framework of the agricultural year, exports were sent to more than 50 million tons of grain.
Thus we can see how much is not being used for productive arable land in the country. And when we begin to discuss the subject of fines and withdrawal of land from negligent farmers, of course, the root of evil here is economic: you produce goods and nobody needs it, hence the empty land.
For the past 17 years the grain sector of Russia is growing at a rate more than 3% per year. The gross grain harvest exceeded the needs of the country.
Table 1. The estimated national demand for the grain, the source is the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In a situation of overproduction there are two traditional choices: export the actual grains or the development of deep processing and supply to the world market products with high added value. Theoretically, in Russia there are all conditions for the production of gluten, modified starch, glucose and its derivatives, organic and amino acids as well as ethanol. But while Russia still only eyeing the global market of products of deep processing of grain, which is a growing trend. Meanwhile, as collected in the country of grain crops can be limit export revenues. Grain importers constantly increase the requirements on the baking properties of wheat, the percentage of protein. And in the case that the indicators are not satisfied, just lower prices.
Projects are created, and the terms are transferred
New technologies of fermentation and biosynthesis of amino acids has opened up opportunities for processors. One ton of wheat can be up to 250 kilograms of lysine, simultaneously producing the 100 pounds of gluten, 170 liters of alcohol, 250 pounds of feed and 30 kilograms of carbon dioxide — the total cost in the amount of 50-70 thousand rubles. The production, of course, high-tech and complicated but very profitable. Belgorod "Plant of premixes No. 1, which built the line for deep processing of grain in amino acids, is a good example of such business.
According to the Ministry of agriculture, the potential for increasing the production of products of deep processing of grain to 2035 is more than $ 1.3 billion. Now the country is one of the only gluten and lysine are imported annually at $ 500 million. There is also a threonine, the import of which in Russia is also growing from year to year. According to the company ID-Marketing, in 2017, imports amounted to 28,4 thousand tons, an increase of 12.5% compared to the previous year. Domestic production of threonine in Russia is not yet available, plans for the production of threonine with a capacity of 18 thousand tons, said the "Plant of premixes №1".
Despite a real opportunity to replace foreign producers of amino acids in the Russian market, make this still does not work. Now Russia implemented more than ten projects for deep processing of grain in the Orel, Rostov, Volgograd, Kurgan, Penza, Moscow, Tambov, Amur regions, the Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, Bashkortostan, and Tatarstan. But many projects are suspended, the term of their entry postponed for a later time.
Bioethanol as a priority
According to the Director of the Institute for agricultural market studies Dmitry Rylko, the most realistic in the direction of deep processing of grain can be the production of bioethanol. It can be produced and sold in significant volumes. Now in the world on manufacture of bioethanol annually consumes about 500 million tons of agricultural products, including 310 million sugar cane, 158 million of corn and five million tons of wheat:
- According to experts, Russia can process up to six million tons of grain per year for the production of a gasoline additive. The main limitation is the lack of state support and anti-energy lobby, which argues that bioethanol replaces traditional fuels. But it's only organic additive, as opposed to synthetic, used in our fuel industry.
Experts, Russian Biofuel Association also actively supported the production of bioethanol and participate in the development and promotion of the bill about it.
The President Of The Russian Biofuel Association Alexey Ablaev:
- The bill and the development of biofuels market in Russia will give a new impetus to the development of rural areas, creation of high-paying jobs and increased tax base. Biofuel plants are also centres of feed production, opening the possibility for the development of effective animal husbandry and profitable innovative businesses.
Harvest years, high revenues from grain exports have provided Russia the opportunity to invest in its deep processing. It will ensure a place in the global market with a more expensive product and will allow you to diversify grain exports.
This year the dynamics of development of the agricultural sector will slow down due to yield reduction
At the end of this year the rate of increase in agricultural production will slow on the back of high base last year, and the contribution of agriculture to economic growth will be at zero. This is stated in the review of the economic development Ministry in July. In the past few years, agriculture has been one of the drivers of the economy. The brake industry will be growing: according to the forecast of the Ministry, the harvest of grain and leguminous crop species will decrease from a record 135.4 million tonnes last year to 113-115 million tons in Itself, this reduction in the gross collection does not bear a significant risk to consumer inflation, as domestic demand will be fully secured, said the Ministry.
In the updated forecast of socio-economic development of the country in 2018 and its main parameters for the period up to 2024, the economic development Ministry estimates the growth potential of the agricultural sector this year at 1.1% vs. 2.4% in 2017. however, only the decrease of grain yield up to 113-115 million tonnes would reduce the index by nearly 4 percentage points, said earlier "the Agroinvestor" head of the Center for economic forecasting of Gazprombank Darya Snitko.
Meanwhile, the harvest may be below the level specified by the Ministry of economic development. For example, the Ministry of agriculture on the last day of July, confirmed its forecast of 100 million tonnes, According to first Deputy Minister Jambulat hatuova, farmers "exhibit professionalism and courage in the battle for the harvest", despite the adverse weather conditions in several regions — drought or excess precipitation. The official also noted that to predict the situation with the weather is difficult, but it is relatively stable.
The meteorologist also downgraded the assessment of the gross grain harvest. If at the beginning of July, he assumed that the crop will be reduced by 10-15% relative to last year, ie until 115-122 million tonnes at the end of last month the Director of the hydrometeorological center Dmitry Kiktev said that from-for difficult weather conditions grain production can be 15-20% less than in 2017. Thus, by calculations "the Agroinvestor", the collection may fall to about 108 million tonnes.
Russian and foreign experts also continue to adjust forecasts. Thus, the international grains Council (IGC) has reduced the figure by 8 million tons compared with the beginning of July to 103.9 million tons, 66 million tons of wheat. In the previous review, the collection of agriculture is expected to reach nearly 71 million tons , the Institute for agricultural market lowered its forecast of gross yield from 114,7 million tonnes to at 112.8 million tonnes, including wheat estimate adjusted from 71.5 million tonnes 70.8 million tonnes, "SovEcon" decreased forecast for all grains with 118,6 million tons to 113.9 million tonnes, wheat — from 72.5 million tonnes to 69.6 million tonnes, the Russian grain Union suggests that the gross yield may be at 107-110 million tons, however, the rating may be raised or lowered depending on weather conditions. Analytical center of "Rusagrotrans" decreased the rating of crop to 115,7 million tons to 113.8 million tonnes, including wheat harvest could reach 70.8 million tons (previously expected to 71.4 million tonnes), barley — 17.5 million tons (18.5 million tons), corn — 12.3 million tonnes (12.6 million tonnes). A new assessment is made based on the condition and progress of agricultural crops harvesting of spring crops, explained to "Interfax" the head of the center Igor Pavensky. "Because of the drought, primarily in the southern, Central and Volga regions, yields were lower than last year, it will affect the harvest," he said.
According to the agriculture Ministry, as of 1 August, grains and legumes had been threshed from 12.7 million hectares — more than 27% of the harvest area, gathered to 44.7 million tons with an average yield of 35.2 t/ha. Year ago at this time, she stood at 42.4 kg/ha, then the grain was collected from 9.9 million hectares, and produced 41,9 million tons, including wheat harvest now stands at 38.2 million tonnes (last year — 3 million tons less), it is removed from 10.2 million hectares (7.9 million ha in 2017), the average yield to 36.7 t/ha (44,2 dt/ha).
Although the crop for the year is expected a negative development, a positive contribution to the development of agricultural production continued to contribute livestock, said the Ministry of economic development. However, and here the Agency draws attention to a slowdown in annual terms. Thus, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter all farms in June increased by 2.6% year-on-year vs. 3.6% in may, milk production rose by 0.6% (1,4%), eggs, 0.7 per cent (1.7 per cent). Overall agricultural production increased in June by 0.9% compared to the same period of 2017, after rising 2.3% in may, according to the materials of economic development. In monthly terms, the Agency recorded the dynamics at minus 0.1%, whereas in April and may to APK was an increase of 0.1%. According to Rosstat, in June, the agricultural production decreased by 1.8% compared to may and rose 0.9% by June 2017. In the first half of the year, the agricultural sector added 2.2%.
By 2018 the production of milk will add about 500 thousand tons
Foreign agricultural service of USDA (FAS USDA) has increased by 3.8 million tons to 513 million tons forecast world milk production in 2018. Thus, compared to the 2017 edition will increase to 11.1 million tons or 2.2%. The increase will primarily provide the European Union, where milk production will reach 76 million tonnes against 72 million tonnes in 2017, and the United States (an increase of 1.1 million tons to 98.8 million tons).
Production of raw milk in 2018, will again show a positive trend in Russia, FAS USDA predicts. If in the previous forecast, released in December, the American analysts were expecting a decrease from 30.6 million tonnes to 30,55 MMT (excluding Crimea), that in the July survey indicated an increase of 100 thousand tons to 30.7 million tons of the Increase in Russian production, according to American analysts, will occur due to the increase of productivity of dairy cattle. At the same time, the total population of dairy cows will continue to decline over the year, a decrease of 200 thousand to 6.8 million animals.
According to Rosstat, in 2017 the production of raw milk of all kinds in Russia increased by 1.4% to 31.2 million tons after the fall in 2016 by 0.1%. Half of the amount accounted for agricultural organizations, which last year increased its yield by 4.1% to 15.7 million tons Total, according to the National Union of milk producers (Soyuzmoloko), in 2017, Russia produced 21.2 million tons of commodity milk, which is 2.8% or 500 thousand tonnes more than the previous year. In 2018, growth in the commodity milk will be another 470-520 thousand tons, or about 2.3−2.5 per cent, said Executive Director of "Soyuzmoloko" Artem Belov.
If it were not for the decline in prices observed in the domestic market in the first half of the year, dynamics of production could be higher. "If you look at the results for the first quarter, the growth was almost 5%. In the second quarter growth was reduced to less than 3%. And if the price will continue to fall in the third and fourth quarter growth will be even lower," — said the "Agroinvestor" Belov. Meanwhile, according to the agriculture Ministry, in July the price of raw milk continued to fall, dropping to 21,18 RUB/kg, which is 9.9% below the same date of 2017.
At the same time to predict the volume of production this year in all Russian households Belov did not. "Rosstat up to 40% of production comes from smallholders, but there is a number of statistical errors, what sense in this", — the expert believes. As for the growth in world milk production this year, according to him, the Russian market is not significantly affected due to closure of the European market and the weakening of the Russian ruble. "Yes, indeed, the global market is expected to increase milk production by about 1.5%. And global market conditions on us, of course, is reflected, but not so significantly", — said Belov.
According to the Institute for agricultural market studies (IKAR), manufacture of milk last year totaled 21.4 million tonnes, or 700 thousand tons more than in 2016. In the first half, an increase in the rate of growth, says the expert of IKAR Natalia Penkova. So, farmers have to increase production by 4% (over the same period 2017 2.7% 2016 — 2.5%), while the rate of decline of production by households has slowed. "This trend has largely been achieved due to record high prices last year, when producers of raw milk have gained a measure of confidence in the ability to make a profit and continue to develop the production," says Penkova. At the same time the effect of last year's high prices can't last forever, she says. "The sharp fall in procurement prices, which began in the winter and the usual season of "big milk" may lead to an increase in the rate of decline in the number of cows and the possible bankruptcy of some producers," warns Penkova.
As previously predicted by the first Deputy Minister of agriculture Dzhambulat Hatuov, not less than 500 thousand tons per year production of marketable milk in Russia will increase in the next four years. In January-June 2018 the production of milk increased by 1.6% to 15.5 million tonnes, including in agricultural enterprises — by 4%, or 314 million tonnes, on — farm-4.4% or 50 tons To 9 July, according to the operative data, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural enterprises amounted to 47 thousand tons, the average milk yield per cow in agricultural organizations — 16,74 kg per day, 0.78 kg more than the previous year. The maximum volume of milk sales per day is noted in Tatarstan (3.6 thousand tons), Krasnodar region (2.3 thousand tons), Altai Krai (1.8 thousand tonnes), Voronezh, Novosibirsk and Kirov regions (1.7 tons).
The suburbs makes a significant contribution to the implementation of the program of import substitution in the food market. He plays a key role in providing food, including dairy products, the Moscow region, including the city.
In the Moscow region dairy farming is in the area of special attention. In this sector attract higher investments, and farmers and farmersoperating in the field of milk production, may receive significant subsidies. Significant grant support is and family owned farms. The region is an ambitious goal – by 2020 to reach production of one million tons of milk a year.
As reported by the Ministry of agriculture and food of the region, referring to Mosoblstat, for the period from January to may of 2018, the suburban milk production by agricultural producers, including farmers and individual entrepreneurs increased compared to the same period last year by 1.7%. In 2018 it is planned to produce 682 thousand tons, milk – by 5.85% more than last year.
"Today, we will discuss options for the development of the industry of stainless steel in Russia, because the situation is ambiguous. Stainless steel producers argue that in the current environment, this production makes no economic sense, because to enter the market impossible. At the same time consumers of stainless steel are forced to buy it abroad," - said the head of the Department of industries of the Analytical center Gregory Mikryukov, opening a round table "Potential of the Russian stainless steel market for producers and consumers from various sectors of the economy."
"In 2017 the production of stainless steel sheet in Russia fell by 11.2% and consumption grew by 11.7%, - said the expert of the Analytical center Daniil Nametkin. - Reduction in the production of stainless steel sheet is only gaining momentum: down 13.5% in a year in the first quarter of 2018. The main reason for this was to stop production of stainless steel of sheet metal CMP, JSC "Mechel". According to experts, is expected to further decrease due to production stoppages for "VMZ "Red October" due to the holding in Volgograd the world Cup. The growth in consumption of stainless sheet steel is met by imported products: the share of imports in consumption increased from 88,3% in 2015, to 92.4% in 2017, said Nametkin.
Due to the low competitiveness of stainless steel products consumption in some segments can be reduced by increasing imports of finished products, he said. "With regard to Russian products, the cost of which a large share of stainless steel sheet, it is difficult to maintain a competitive pricing due to high costs for the purchase of materials. The main risk exists in segments such as flatware and surgical instruments," - said Nametkin.
"Because of the high cost of materials and inability to compete on price with foreign products, most medical device manufacturers of stainless steel unprofitable", - said the expert of the Analytical centerOlga skvirs'ka. According to her, to maintain the financial stability of the company will shift the production of medical products from other metals – carbon steel or solid alloy, for example, titanium.
"In Russia there is no funding of debt transactions for the purchase of raw materials. This is a big problem for companies. In Europe, however, all of the largest processors of stainless steel has a debt deal, they can buy raw materials six months ahead", - said General Director of "Enberg container systems" , Jan Beloglazov. Consumers and processors of stainless steel I think that Russia needs to develop modern production of stainless flat products with stable quality at world standards. In addition, it is important to create and manufacture slabs of stainless steel.
The panelists noted that increasingly the existing shortage of stainless steel sheet metal inhibits the development of aviation and shipbuilding, oil and gas and power engineering, engineering for the food processing industry, automotive industry, machine tool industry. According to experts, the solution to this problem should have a positive impact on the growth rate of industrial production, the implementation of programs of import substitution and competitiveness of products of manufacturing industries.
